From Broke to BMW

Today, I am reviewing a book by one of my clients, Shar Moore, From Broke to BMW. From Broke to BMW in 18 months. There we go. Shar is a very energetic person and she is very open when

she reveals, in this book, how her one business, a boutique, failed and it was an act of

nature, the 2011 floods, which caused mayhem for her business and, basically, everything

was going downhill and it wasn’t surviving. And, then, at the same time, she decided to start a new business, the networking business, which she is so well-known for, Y Network. And she details in this book, the process she went through, her thoughts, how she set about taking

various steps to improve and to work out what she needed to do next. (coughing) People thought she was nuts creating a new business when she was struggling with the old business and one of the things that I like about this book is that it is very interactive. She has this part, and these parts that

go throughout the book, where basically she says, “It’s your turn,” and then she asks you to

reflect on certain things. So, this chapter’s talking about reflect on your current situation. Write down exactly what is and what isn’t. Then, from that list, what can you work on straight away? So, it’s a very practical guide using her experience as an example and, of course, she has a happy ending. (laughing) She has a happy ending in her book. She also has a space at one stage for affirmations and other mindset tools that she recommends. Now, of course, since becoming successful with the Y Network and becoming an international business award winner, she has launched her magazines which I’m going to review in another episode of this. So, this isn’t even included in her From Broke to BMW. That was the start of her trajectory and this is now where she is now and she’ll be going for the stars. I’m sure that’s just the beginning for Shar Moore. So, the point really is, this book, From Broke to BMW, shows how the strategies and techniques she used to become successful, not only in business but also in her mindset and that helped her become successful in business and at the end of this book, that wasn’t the end of the success. So, very interesting read from Shar Moore and one that I do recommend. If you would like for me to review your book, please let me know because slots are filling up fast.
