Busting Legal Myths in Small Business, I am so excited about this topic. I do a lot of public speaking, and when I talk to business groups or when I’m on social media, I see a lot of misunderstanding of the law amongst small business owners. I see the same myths,
as I like to call them, popping up over and over.
These myths are hurting small businesses, because people are getting the wrong idea and they’re spreading the wrong idea. If any of you have a teenager out there, you know what it’s like when the teenager says “But Mom, everybody’s got a cell phone!”, “But Mom, everybody goes to bed past midnight!”, Just because everybody’s doing it doesn’t mean it’s right!
So I am so excited to be busting legal myths, to protect your business so that you can have the lifestyle that you deserve. I’m doing an entire series on this, I sat down one day and in 10 minutes I wrote down 32 commonly occurring legal myths that I hear all the time.
